EQUIPP® Refresh Notice September 15, 2022

Performance Data Date Range

The latest dataset was made available in EQUIPP® as of September 15, 2022. This dataset now includes 6-month performance information based off of prescription drug claims from February 1, 2022 through July 31, 2022.  

YTD Date Range: January 1, 2022 - July 31, 2022

NOTE: This EQUIPP® refresh will display the same data for both the Year-to-Date and Rolling 6-Month measurement periods.

 

What's New to EQUIPP® ?

EQUIPP® PLATFORM: With new EQUIPP® launching this fall, we have updated our educational resources to capture changes to the platform. 

  • Access the New Resource Materials Section for educational digital downloads in the forms of PDFs and videos or visit our PQS Support Site and click on the EQUIPP® Resources button.  
  • Updates for the new platform will be posted in the EQUIPP® refresh notices.
  • Visit the EQUIPP® EVOLUTION page to learn more about the new features.

Influenza Performance Update:

The Influenza Vaccination measures is now available in EQUIPP® and will be tracked through the 2022-2023 flu season, with a final measurement date ending March 31, 2023. This performance data available is now available with the August EQUIPP refresh and has performance data for the Humana Quality Network.

 

Current Influenza Immunization performance data date range: 

June 1, 2022 - June 31, 2022

NEW EQUIPP® PLATFORM FAQs

We know that you may have some questions on the new platform and when you can start using the new dashboard. Here are answers to a few commonly asked questions:

Q: Why is EQUIPP® changing?

A: We’ve taken feedback from our users to create a new and improved platform, redesigned to provide a better user experience to enable a more proactive approach to quality improvement.

 

Q: Do I (as a current user) need to do anything to get on the new EQUIPP®?

A: EQUIPP® users do not need to take any steps at this time. Please continue to access the EQUIPP® dashboard the way that you do today, until general availability of the new platform later this year. Our EQUIPP® refresh notices will keep you updated with a timeline over the next few months of when the new version of EQUIPP® will be available to all users.

 

Q: How do I get access to the new version of EQUIPP®?

A: PQS, or your corporate / central pharmacy organization, will notify you when you can access the new platform. During the transition to the new EQUIPP®, you will receive user access instructions from our team.

 

Q: Where can I find out more information?

A: Updates regarding the new platform will be posted in future EQUIPP® refresh notices. You can also visit https://www.pharmacyquality.com/equippevolution to learn more about the new features.
